Therapy Dogs at Abbott Library

Golden retriever therapy dog visits the library.

Therapy dogs return to Abbott Library for monthly visits during the spring 2026 semester. The visits are designed to give students, faculty and staff a chance to take a break, reduce stress and enjoy the company of friendly dogs.

Research has shown that interacting with therapy animals can help lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety and improve overall well-being. The dogs will be available in Room 130 on the first floor of Abbott Library.
