Howard H. English

Howard English was born in Olean, New York in 1940.  He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1964.  During his professional career, English served UB in a number of capacities.  From 1968-1980, he was a senior systems analyst for the university and from 1978-1988 he was an instructor in UB's Millard Fillmore College, teaching courses related to computers and computer programming.  In the 1970s, English assisted with the planning of the North Campus of UB both in the Office of Space Planning and as the liaison between the university and the Town of Amherst.
