Helju Aulik Bennett

Helju Aulik Bennett was born in Paide, Estonia on February 1, 1934. She received her B.A. (1957) and M.A. (1959) from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, and her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (December 1971). Bennet joined the faculty of the UB Department of History in 1973. Her research and many of the classes she taught focused on the history of Russia.
