Rodney L. Doran
Death: 2019Rodney L. Doran was a professor in the Graduate School of Education who dedicated his career to improving classroom education. Doran was best known for organizing and developing Science Exploration Day. Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019, Science Exploration Day welcomed Western New York's most promising high school STEM students to UB for offbeat science seminars, offered by scientists, engineers and heath care professionals. According to Doran, “The goal of Science Exploration Day is for each student to make his or her own headline about STEM.”
Rodney L. Doran died on July 24, 2019.
