Jean S. Decker
Death: 2020Jean Decker was born on April 18, 1925. In 1946, she received a B.A. in French and Spanish from Hartwick College. Decker began her career with the University at Buffalo's University Libraries in 1972 and in 1975, she was named the Head of the Serials Cataloging Section. In 1996, Decker received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Librarianship. She continued to work in the University Libraries into her 80s.
Jean Decker died on December 9, 2020.
