Amol S. Lele

Amol S. Lele was a professor of obstetrics and gynecology that held many positions at the University at Buffalo.  She first came to UB as an instructor in 1974 and within two years she was promoted to assistant professor.  Lele was the medical coordinator for the Women's Health Care Program for Nurse Practitioners in the School of Nursing, the co-director of the Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Gynecology-Obstetrics and the clinical director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of Gynecology-Obstetrics.  Lele was also director of the Women's Clinic at Children's Hospital of Buffalo and later became the clinical director of obstetrics and gynecology at the hospital.
