Roberta J. Pentney

Roberta J. Pentney joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo's Department of Anatomical Sciences in 1974, as an assistant professor.  She earned both a B.A. (1960) and a Ph.D (1965) in biology from the College of Notre Dame and was a member of the faculty of that college's Department of Biology from 1965-1972.  From 1971-1974, Pentney performed her post-doctoral studies in neuroanatomy at Columbia University. 

While at the University at Buffalo, Roberta J. Pentney rose from assistant professor in 1974 to full professor in 1994, and served as the assistant chair of the Department of Anatomical Sciences 1987-1992.  She retired from UB in 2003.
