Janet J. Mather

Janet J. Mather was born August 26, 1947 in Buffalo. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology as well as a master's degree in education, both from UB. Mather began working at the university in 1968 as a secretary in the psychology department, and then worked in Career Planning and Placement as a career counselor. She also was interim director of Career Services and interim director for Student Life. Mather retired in 2013 as a College of Arts and Sciences adviser. Janet Mather died of cancer on October 22, 2017 at the age of 70.
