Helena T. Eccles

Helena T. Eccles was an assistant research professor in the University at Buffalo's Department of Physiology.  Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia (as it was then known) she graduated from that country's Charles University.  Eccles came to the University at Buffalo in 1968, when her husband, Sir John C. Eccles, was appointed Distinguished Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics.  Though she assisted her husband's research in neurophysiology, Helena T. Eccles' own research concerned the cerebellum of the brain.
