Law Practice Tech Hub
The Law Practice Technology Hub is here to help students learn the necessary technological competency required by the evolving legal industry. As future lawyers, students need to become familiar with technology and understand how it can be utilized in practice. Students will gain education and skills through courses, webinars, hands-on experience, and events to introduce them to innovative products.
This space is open to students interested in learning more about legal technology or who seek assistance with coursework. We are here for the students and welcome any ideas or suggestions about what they’d like us to bring to the Hub. Please contact Latasha Towles for more information.
To ensure students’ success in their law school career and practice, we offer tutoring in several tech tools used by practicing attorneys. For example, students can learn how to:
- Format memos and briefs in Word
- Remove metadata from documents
- Create presentations with PowerPoint or Canva
- Redact information and create exhibit stamps in Adobe Acrobat
- Work with practice management software (e.g., Cosmolex or Clio)
