Mary Ann Sharrow joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo’s School of Nursing in 1968 as an associate professor. She earned a BS in Nursing from D’Youville College (1957), an MA in Maternal/Child Health from the Teachers College of Columbia University (1961) and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University at Buffalo (1989). Sharrow held a number of positions with the school including Acting Chair of Undergraduate Nursing Education, Interim Dean and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
