Frank J. Cipolla joined the faculty of the University at Buffalo's Department of Music in 1961. He earned a bachelor's degree (1951) and master's degree (1956) from the Eastman School of Music. While at UB, Cipolla served as director and conductor of the UB marching and symphonic bands.
