43/1/1308 Abstract:Records include clippings, correspondence, legislative bulletins, minutes, and newsletters concerning contract negotiations, Article 20, Article 38, and SUNY Health Science Centers. Zebulon Taintor was a member of the SPA Article 20 Committee, chairman of the Article 38 committee and later, president of the Buffalo Health Sciences SPA chapter. Article 20 of the contract between United University Professions (UUP) and the Office of Employee Relations of SUNY concerned salary settlements of professional faculty. Article 38 discussed management topics: promotion, tenure, faculty work load, and funding sources for research.
