Submission Checklist

Follow these steps to complete your submission:

  1. Research Paper/Project

    Include a final or near final version of your research paper/project in your submission. Some examples of eligible research projects include:

    • Research paper
    • Lab or clinical research investigation
    • Photography
    • Film/Video
    • Product or prototype development
    • Mapping or GIS project
    • Artwork
    • Architecture project/model
    • Database development
    • Field trip/site exploration
    • Website
  2. Bibliography

    If your project or paper did not include a bibliography, please provide one or another suitable list of sources consulted in your submission.

  3. Reflective Essay/Video

    In a reflective essay (750-1000 words) or video (10 minutes or less), tell us how a library resource, service, space, or person(s) challenged you in a way that changed the course of your original research project. This personal reflection may be improved with, but not written by, generative AI tools.

    Questions to consider in your reflection:

    • Describe your research process. What methods and strategies did you use to complete this project?
    • How did you determine what resources to use in this project?
    • How did the University Libraries impact your research? Did you utilize library collections (print and digital resources), spaces (study rooms, recording studios, etc.), services (Delivery+/interlibrary loan), or personnel (librarians, chat service, desk staff)?
    • Did you encounter any stumbling blocks during the research process? Describe how you navigated any challenges that emerged during your journey of discovery.
    • What did you learn during the process of completing this project? How did it help you become a better researcher?
    • If submitting as a group, please describe each group member’s contributions to the final project.
  4. Submission Form

    Complete the submission form and upload your research paper/project, bibliography, and reflective essay/video as attachments.

    Written projects and documents should be uploaded as PDFs or Word documents while digital or multimedia projects can be submitted as links or in other formats. For group submissions, the submission must list the names of all students involved in the paper/project.
