Library Policies

Due to COVID-19, you must always wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth while in the Libraries.

As a destination for students, faculty and researchers from across the university and beyond, the University Libraries provide a welcoming, comfortable and safe environment, in support of study, scholarly research, academic collaboration and intellectual exploration.

The Libraries’ Code of Conduct is intended to ensure a positive experience for everyone who uses our Libraries. Here, individuals will respect the rights of others and care for the integrity of library facilities, resources, equipment and furnishings.

We endorse the University at Buffalo Student Code of Conduct and other University policies that guide personal behavior. Please show your support for these values by demonstrating positive behaviors when using the UB Libraries.
