Partial and Duplicate Typescripts of the Holograph Transcription (V.B.13. b ) of the Photostat of the Rosenbach (Faircopy) Manuscript (V.B.13. a ) of the "Circe" (15) Episode for Ulysses (1921)
The manuscript consists of 13 sheets of light yellow paper that are similar to the paper in MS V.B.13.b. They are single-spaced typewritten top (original) copies in blue ink, with corrections on all of the pages, except pp. [4] and [16]; all the versos are blank.
The sheet measures 27.0 x 20.7 cm.
Pages [1], [3], [7], [10], [11], [13], [14] and [15] are numbered "73", "74", "77", "78", "78a", "79" and "80" in black ink in the left margins; this pagination corresponds to the page numbers of the Rosenbach manuscript from which the photostat and the holograph copies (MSS V.B.13.a and 13.b) were made. (Page [15] is mis-numbered "80"; it should be "79a").
The manuscript is an incomplete typescript of MS V.B.13.b. Although the pages may have been typed on the same typewriter, pp. [1] and [2] were typed separately but basically duplicate the same text and pp. [3], [4] and [5] were typed separately but basically duplicate the same text. There are different typing errors on most pages, only some of which are corrected. Pages [6]–[8] were incorporated as part of the printers’ typescript (V.B.13.h). The text on the pages is as follows:

This manuscript has not been reproduced.
Pages [6]–[8] (see Rosenbach MS "Circe," pp."75"–"77"; Ulysses 15.4324–4424) were incorporated into MS V.B.13.h.7, pp. [1]–[3]. As no carbons seem to have been made, this section of the episode was not included in MSS V.B.13.e. or in 13.d.
