*VI.F.4: "Work in Progress"/Finnegans Wake Typescripts: Typed Extradraft Presentation Copy of "Isolde’s Minnelogue" for transition 15/Finnegans Wake III.3§3 (1928–1929):
The manuscript consists of a loose sheet of unlined, off-white typing paper. It is a double-spaced typewritten top (original) black ink copy, with no corrections; the verso is blank.
The manuscript is headed "Isolde’s minnelogue with herself in her interieure about her | nuptials" in typescript in the top margin above the text.
The manuscript measures 26.9 x 20.7 cm.
This is a typescript version of an amanuensis copy in Lucia Joyce’s hand of the text on Buffalo Finnegans Wake notebook MS VI.B.4, pp. [050] and [051]. Joyce probably first wrote this text as an addition (based on notes in VI.B.4) on the "large format typescript" on BL MS 47484a, f. 282v for transition 15 (February 1929). He then had Lucia Joyce transcribe it in the notebook and then had someone (possibly Beach) prepare this typed version, which is a presentation copy for Beach. This version of the text does not appear in any draft or published version, but see transition 15, 228.19–26 as well as FW 528.03–10.
III.3§3A.8|-.
The manuscript was probably typed in December 1928–January 1929.
The typescript is signed "J. J." below the text in Joyce’s hand in blue crayon.
This typescript has not been reproduced.
