The manuscript is a loose sheet of Commerce stationery headed: "Commerce | 7, rue de l’odeon – paris-vie – tél. : fleurus 25-05". The emendations are on the recto and verso in Beach’s hand in lead pencil and black ink. This manuscript is on the same kind of paper as MSS VI.I.33 and I.35.

Notes

Joyce had noted three of the emendations on MS VI.B.12.072 before he instructed Beach to copy them here. Joyce also made these emendations on the extant pages of a copy of the typescript in hand (see BL MS 47483, fs. 169, 174, 175, and 177; JJA 57.269, 274, 275, and 277).
