Material Description and Collation
The manuscript is an advertisement for a concert by George Antheil at the Théatre des Champs-Élysées on 19 June 1926. The emendations are on the verso in Beach’s hand in black ink.

Although partially torn, the manuscript measures 13.5 x 8.9 cm.
Contents
The manuscript is an extra draft sheet that contains Beach’s notes (presumably based on Joyce’s instructions) to emend a missing copy of the second typescript of Book III. See FW 470.10, 470.30, 471.33, and 476.36.

The manuscript was probably written in June 1926.
Other Markings
Also on the verso, Beach wrote: “115 pages typescript | commercial size | 30–34000 words | 4 consecutive pieces”; this refers to the typescript of Book III (see Beach to Marriane Moore, 12 July 1926, in Keri Walsh’s The Letters of Sylvia Beach [New York: Columbia University Press], p. 110).

Joyce made the emendation on the extant pages of a copy of the typescript (BL MSS 47483 f. 183 and 47484a, f. 129; JJA 57.283 and 58.251).
