*VI.I.43: "Work in Progress"/Finnegans Wake Emendations and Errata: Emendations for a (Missing) Duplicate Copy of the Second Typescript of Book III/Finnegans Wake III.1–4 (1926):

Material Description and Collation

The manuscript is a loose sheet of rolled paper, with a watermark of an image of a mailed arm & battle-axe and below it: "FABRIQUÉ EN ÉCOSSE". Joyce used the sheet horizontally, with the perforated edge on the left hand side; the emendations are in Joyce’s hand in lead pencil on the recto and verso. This manuscript is the same kind of paper as MSS VI.I.1, I.2, I.31, and VI.J.4; all were probably torn from the same or similar tablets or blocks of sheets.
